John A. Curran received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1981 from Manhattan College. He has spent his entire career in public accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant in both the states of Connecticut and New York. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
John has been practicing in the accounting profession for over 37 years and assisting clients in a broad range of industries. He specializes in financial statement audits and quality control. He provides clients with a full range of planning and reporting services in the tax and financial statement areas. He consults on complex accounting and reporting issues as well as the evaluation of corporate internal controls. He provides clients and their attorneys litigation and forensic support services. He works with closely held businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and retirement plan clients.
John is an integral part of MMBA due to his extensive background in traditional audit, quality control and forensic support services. This background will enable MMBA to position itself to be in the forefront of the “certification” process of tokenizing paper and digital assets when they are on-boarded onto a blockchain.
